Sade Ogunbode
Attorney & Counselor at Law

Spending the first half of her life in West Africa Sade Bigger Picand with family and friends in different parts of the globe, Sade enjoys a culturally diverse perspective. She has an attitude of excellence, fairness and  compassion. Her affinity for the law and for social justice led to her belief that everyone must have a chance to be heard. Yet, she encourages alternative dispute resolution in lieu of litigation and enjoys mediating settlement agreements.


Sade is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas  and her main areas of practice are Collections’ Defense, Foreclosure Defense, and Consumer Rights. She previously worked as a Special Education teacher where she taught life skills and developed modified curriculum. She also has a background in technology in the area of software development.


She is active in the local community having previously served as President of the Austin Bar Association Solo / Small Firm section and Chair of the Austin Bar Association Mentoring Program. She volunteers time with Volunteer Legal Services and also contributes by giving presentations on legal topics that affect the most people, especially on the topic of Consumer Law.


Sade received her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Houston, her J.D. of Law from South Texas College of Law and holds a Texas state Mediator certificate.
